The Indian film industry lost yet another one of it brightest stars: Actor Rishi Kapoor. He passed away peacefully after having battled cancer for over 2 years. Rishi Kapoor was a very popular and bankable actor, who has worked with almost all the leading ladies in Bollywood, over the years.

Rishi Kapoor appeared on screen, for the very first time as a 3-year old toddler. He made his debut as a child artist in the year 1970 in the movie Mera Naam Joker, where he played the role of adolescent Raju, a role that won him the prestigious National Award. He was cast as the lead hero opposite the gorgeous Dimple Kapadia in Bobby, three years later. His fourth film Zaheerela Insaan changed his life, as he was cast for the first time opposite his future wife, Neetu Singh. This was a super hit paring and they went on to act in 12 movies together before getting hitched in January 1980. Their relationship went through its fair share of ups and downs, but Neetu and Rishi Kapoor stood by each other as rocks. Their two children, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani and Ranbir Kapoor top jewellery designer and actor, respectively.
