Vijay's Master May Not Release In Theaters Till September 2020 | Fans Disappointed | Reason Is Not What You Think
The bad time which all cinema lovers are facing now cannot be explained in words. But in one word, the cause can be pronounced, which is COVID-19. Last month, the rapid spread of COVID 19 in India pushed the central government to instal lockdown nationwide to reduce infection rates, gradually. But then the contrary happened, when medicos recorded a sudden increase in infection rate, despite nationwide lockdown. So the ministry headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the most crucial steps by extending the lockdown another 15 days, and to end the same by 2 May.
Following the bad, the worst came later from the makers of Actor Vijay starring Master's Movie. The much expected master movie was supposed to be on screen on 9 April. But due to the effects of COVID-19, its producers postponed the release.
Disappointing fans, Makers posted the same with a poster over a tweet, 'We miss you, just like how you miss us! Hoping that a master-mind finds an antidote and puts an end to Corona! We’ll come back stronger nanbaa. Stay home, Stay Safe.'
Following Master-mind maker, Chiyaan Vikram's starring Cobra movie's director reverted a shock to one of Vikram's fans, when he requested the director of the movie, Ajay Gnanamuthu to release Cobra's teaser on Vikram's Birthday. 'Not possible!! All studios closed!! Will take a long time,' reads the tweet of the movie maker who came India canceling shoot amid COVID-19 outbreak.
Even Actor Ajith Kumar's Valimai, Suriya's Soorarai Potru are dealing with similar problems, which seems to delay their release. Following these bits, an insult to injury came through a YouTube Channel's interview. In the popular YouTube Channel, Valaipechu, one of the journalists shared information that he came to know.
He said,' Even after the lock down, movie releases may face delays, since many theatres have gone under the custody of rats, resulting in damage of chairs and projection equipements.’' The presenter said this happened due to no maintenance of theatres due to lockdown.
In the debate session, a participant added,’Even after the release of lockdown, people hesitate to visit crowded places such as theatres and malls. Also, many are facing pay cuts and loss in businesses. This would also affect heads of theatre goers.’
